Sonnet in Iambic Pentameter
It’s excruciatingly beautiful,
impossible to omit temptation,
an outcome that is sure to dreadful.
The heart pleading for one to take caution
and yet with religious consistency
one will ignore the pleas and venture on.
Longing will surface with conspiracy
only externished at the break of dawn,
with flooding light abolishing the night.
Oh, yes! The joy of coming back to life,
of once more depicting reason and sight,
to gain more than lost a tireless drive.
To think you’ve learned a lesson is foolish,
for one is sure to repeat such brackish.
